THE BERLIN QUEER FESTIVAL WANTS TO CREATE A SAFE AND COMFORTABLE OPEN STACE WHERE EVERYONE CAN EXPRESS THEMSELVES! We want to create a real alternative to mainstream culture and business practices. The aim of the festival is to show and support queer culture. The festival is for everyone that has a queer approach, attitude and perspective. Any form of racism or sexism will be not accepted. The Berlin Queer Festival supports and promotes all the independent queer productions and every form of creativity. We believe that queer artists should be able to survive through their art and be supported. We hope that this event will open new relationships and connections between small underground entities which have been historically repressed by the mainstream/hetero society. Our main point is to show that there is a real and strong alternative to this homophobic society.
